Privacy Policy

Effective October 29, 2026 · Applies to the Gurt Party Games app (iOS & Android)

The short version: Gurt is built to run entirely on your phone. Player names, settings and game progress are stored only on your device — we don't have a server, we don't run analytics or advertising, and nothing about how you play ever reaches us. This page explains exactly what that means in detail, and what changes if you ever turn on an optional account.

01Who we are

Gurt Party Games ("Gurt", "we", "us") is a party-game app published by FOP Litovka Mykhailo Olehovych. This policy covers the Gurt mobile app distributed on the Apple App Store and Google Play, and it governs what happens to any information the app touches.

02What's stored on your device

When you use Gurt, the app saves a small amount of information locally on your phone, using standard on-device storage (not a database we operate). None of it is transmitted anywhere unless you explicitly enable an optional feature described below.

Player names
Whatever first names you type in for your group. Used only to personalize cards and turns during play.
App preferences
Language, light/dark theme, sound and vibration toggles, and whether you've confirmed 18+ content.
Game progress
Which deck or round you're on, so the app can resume where you left off.

All of this lives in your device's app storage. Uninstalling Gurt deletes it. We never see it, because it never leaves your phone.

03If you create an account

Gurt may offer an optional way to sign in (Apple, Google, or email) so your Gurt+ status can follow you to a new device. Player names and settings stay on your phone and are not uploaded. If and when you use it, we additionally process:

Signing in is never required to play. Every game mode works fully without an account, and skipping sign-in means nothing about you ever reaches us.

04What we never collect

Gurt contains no advertising SDK, no analytics or crash-reporting SDK, no tracking pixel, and no social or sharing integration. We do not collect your location, contacts, photos, browsing history, or any identifier used to track you across other apps or websites. There is nothing in Gurt that profiles you or serves you targeted ads.

05Device permissions

Gurt may ask for the following device permissions. Each is used only for the purpose stated, and only while you're using the relevant feature.

06Purchases

Gurt+ subscriptions and one-time unlocks are processed entirely by Apple (App Store) or Google (Play Billing). We receive confirmation that a purchase was made and which tier it unlocked — we do not receive your card number, billing address, or any other payment details. Those are handled solely by Apple or Google under their own privacy policies.

07Sharing & third parties

We do not sell, rent, or share your information with advertisers or data brokers. The only outside parties involved in running Gurt are:

We disclose information to other parties only if required by law, or to protect the rights and safety of our users.

08Retention & deletion

Local data is retained on your device until you uninstall the app or clear its storage. If you've created an account, you can delete it at any time from Profile → Account → Delete account inside the app; this permanently removes your account data from our systems within 30 days. You can also request deletion by emailing us using the contact below.

09Age & children's privacy

Gurt is a party game designed for adults and includes an 18+ content category with drinking-game and mature prompts, gated behind an in-app age confirmation. Gurt is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13 (or the minimum age of digital consent in your country). If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we'll delete it.

10Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete the personal information we hold about you, and to object to or restrict certain processing. Because almost everything in Gurt stays on your device under your control, exercising most of these rights is as simple as using the app's own settings or uninstalling it. For account data, write to us at the email below and we'll respond within 30 days.

11Changes to this policy

If we change what Gurt collects or how we use it, we'll update this page and change the effective date above. For material changes, we'll also show an in-app notice the next time you open Gurt.
